Job Description:

Performs advanced (senior-level) computer programming work. Work involves planning, analyzing, scheduling, coordinating and implementing programming projects; as well as providing technical assistance. This includes analysis, design, coding, testing, documenting, and implementing applications to support the various functional areas of the Texas Lottery & Charitable Bingo. Works in a manner that exemplifies and supports the agency’s core values of integrity, responsibility, innovation, fiscal accountability, customer responsiveness, teamwork, and excellence. 

Required Skills:

  • 8 Yrs of SQL or PL/SQL

  • 8 Yr of software version control experience

  • 8 Yr of developing and maintaining secure .NET public websites

  • 8 Yr of C#, ASP.NET (minimum 2 years .NET 8.0 and higher)

  • 8 Yr of HTML, CSS and JavaScript

  • 8 Yr of developing system documentation

Preferred Skills:

  • 1 Yr of Developing and maintaining Python batch scripts

  • 1 Yr of Experience with Agile methodology

  • 1 Yr of Experience with Sync fusion and Bold Reports for rich UI/UX development and reporting

  • 1 Yr of Experience integrating with Google and Apple authentication systems

  • 1 Yr of Experience with .NET LINQ (Language Integrated Query)

  • 1 Yr of Experience developing Java applications

  • 1 Yr of Knowledge of Charitable Bingo Rules and Regulations

  • 1 Yr of Knowledge of interfaces and data exchange standards between software applications
