QA LEAD, PHOENIX, AZ (HYBRID)

Our client is currently seeking a Lead QA Engineer with extensive experience in manual testing and deep knowledge of the Card domain (Credit Card and Debit Card). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the FIS or TSYS space, and will function almost like a product owner as well.

Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the QA testing process for card-related projects.
• Perform manual testing to ensure the quality and functionality of card systems.
• Collaborate closely with product owners and development teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Identify, document, and track defects and issues.
• Provide leadership and guidance to junior QA team members.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Required Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a QA Lead or similar role in the card domain.
• Strong knowledge of Credit Card and Debit Card systems.
• Experience with FIS or TSYS platforms is highly advantageous.
• Excellent manual testing skills.
• Ability to work on-site in downtown Phoenix, AZ Monday through Thursday, with remote work on Fridays.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with automation testing tools and frameworks.
• Experience in a product owner role or similar capacity.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements for card systems.
