Job Description:

Project managers are the people in charge of a specific project or projects within a company. As the project manager, your job is to plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of the specific project you are working on. Project managers might work by themselves or be in charge of a team to get the job done. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required and should be noted on the resume. Proof of certification may be requested.

They will support the State Health Analytics Reporting Platform (SHARP) by managing a project which will enhance the system to expand the reporting available to program area users.. They will manage a vendor software development team and coordinate with the in house software team, and collaborate with the program area to keep them informed and involved as appropriate. They will manage the schedule, budget and scope for this project.

Required Skills:

• 8 Yrs of Project Management

• 8 Yrs of Managing enterprise scale data management projects.

• 8 Yrs of Managing agile projects at state or federal government agencies or similar

Preferred Skills:

• 5 Yrs of Knowledge and experience with common project management systems like Jira, Micro Focus Project Management etc.

• 3 Yrs of Experience with creating Texas Project Delivery Framework deliverables and managing projects using this framework strongly preferred.

• 1 Yr of Certified PMP

• 1 Yr of Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or other Agile-related certifications
