PROJECT SCHEDULER, HOUSTON, TX (REMOTE)

Job Description:
The Project Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and communicating project schedules to support effective planning, execution, and delivery. This role partners closely with project managers, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure schedule accuracy, identify risks, and provide actionable insights that support decision-making across all phases of the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
Work with discipline leads to define activity sequencing, durations, constraints, and resource requirements.
Analyze schedule progress, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
Prepare and distribute regular schedule updates, dashboards, and critical-path analysis.
Support development of baseline schedules, schedule change requests, and recovery plans.
Integrate engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction activities into a unified master schedule.
Coordinate closely with Project Controls Manager to align schedule, cost, and risk data.
Participate in planning meetings, design reviews, and progress evaluations.
Ensure all schedule assumptions and logic are well-documented and traceable.
Maintain compliance with company scheduling standards and best practices.
Qualifications
5–7 years of experience in project scheduling within EPC, construction, manufacturing, or industrial projects.
Proficiency in Primavera P6 required; experience with MS Project or other tools a plus.
Strong understanding of work breakdown structures (WBS), critical path method (CPM), and earned value principles.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, construction sequencing, procurement data, and contractor schedules.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across multiple disciplines in a fast-paced environment.
