JAVA FULLSTACK DEVELOPER, AUSTIN (REMOTE)

Job Description:

While the role emphasizes front-end implementation for Java-based web applications, it also includes environment migration, PHP development, and database integration within a Linux/RHEL environment.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving software, data, hardware and reporting problems and troubleshooting system issues for internal and external clients.

  • Develops and tests Web Applications that meet design specifications, including accessibility and usability requirements.

  • Documents current processes, reviews written specification additions/modifications and creates test cases for submitted defects involving new and modified program policies.

Required Skills:

  • 4-7 Yrs of Experience in EAP 8, Java OpenJDK 1.8 or above, Spring batch 2.1.8, iText- 2.1.5, Squirrel SQL Client.

  • 4-7 Yrs of Experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.x/7.x (RHEL), Red hat Code ready studio 12.21.3.GA.

  • 4-7 Yrs of Proficient at migrating web content to RHEL 8 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 (RHEL 8).

  • 4-7 Yrs of Proficient in web development.

  • 4-7 Yrs of Collaboration; ability to work effectively with web admin, Unix admin, and IT teams.

  • 4-7 Yrs of Content Migration; skilled in migrating web content from legacy servers to current web servers.

  • 4-7 Yrs of Environment Management; experience managing and migrating environments to RHEL 8.

  • 4-7 Yrs of PHP Development; expertise in server-side development using PHP.

  • 4-7 Yrs of Proficient with Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP.

  • 4-7 Yrs of Experience in DB2 Database.

  • 4-7 Yrs of Knowledge of web security best practices (OWASP, secure coding) preventing common vulnerabilities like SQL injection, XSS, and CSRF, WAF (Web Application Firewall).

  • 4-7 Yrs of Experience with Government Regulations/Compliance.

  • 4-7 Yrs of Experience Working with Style Guides and Standards – Web Admins can

Preferred Skills:

  • 4-7 Yrs of Experience using GitHub repository or other.

  • 4-7 Yrs of Experience in Visual Code Studio or similar.
