Job Description:

Understands business objectives and problems, identifies alternative solutions, performs studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives. Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer system: Confers with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements, such as forms of data input, how data is to be; summarized, and formats for reports. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer program. Reviews computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system.

GitHub Administrator will be responsible for governance, security, compliance, and automation of the GitHub Enterprise platform. Ensure DevSecOps enablement, audit readiness, and standardized CI/CD practices across the enterprise software development lifecycle.

Required Skills:

  • 8 Yrs of experience in Git-based version control administration

  • 8 Yrs of Hands-on experience managing GitHub Enterprise (Cloud or Server) organizations

  • 8 Yrs of Expertise in RBAC, SAML/SSO, and branch protection strategies

  • 8 Yrs of Proficiency in GitHub Actions and YAML-based workflow automation

  • 8 Yrs of Experience integrating CI/CD pipelines with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)

  • 8 Yrs of Experience with audit logging, compliance reporting, and access reviews

  • 8 Yrs of Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation

  • 8 Yrs of Experience implementing DevSecOps practices within CI/CD pipelines

  • 8 Yrs of Experience with GitHub Advanced Security (CodeQL, Secret Scanning)

Preferred Skills:

  • 4 Yrs of Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep)

  • 4 Yrs of Knowledge of policy-as-code implementations

  • 4 Yrs of Ability to document governance standards and developer guides

  • 4 Yrs of Experience leading technical enablement sessions
