DEVELOPER/PROGRAMMER ANALYST 3 , AUSTIN (REMOTE)

Contract: 12 Months (3 Yrs Ext)

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in business architecture, a proven track record in large-scale digital change, and an intimate understanding of the MITA framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance classic ASP and ASP.NET web applications.

  • Architect and optimize database schemas; write and troubleshoot complex SQL queries and stored procedures.

  • Work with Entity Framework, SSRS, and SSIS packages.

  • Build and maintain Web APIs using .NET Core with a solid understanding of RESTful principles.

  • Utilize technologies including C#, Visual Studio, SQL Server (SSMS), TypeScript, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap.

  • Modify legacy applications to meet 504 ADA compliance standards.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and bugs in a fast-paced production environment.

  • Apply knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Work within Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Experience with ArcGIS is a plus.

  • Experience Crystal Reports with older as well as newer versions.

Required Skills:

  • 20 Yrs of Proof of hands-on experience in software development, evolving through legacy platforms to current technologies

  • 20 Yrs of Experience with legacy asp and asp.net web applications. Please list project names in your experience.

  • 20 Yrs of Experience with SQL Server and database design, entity framework, schema design, stored procedures, SSRS

  • 15 Yrs of Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, Typescript, CSS, JavaScript

  • 15 Yrs of Strong knowledge of unit testing frameworks and tools. Proficiency in writing unit tests using nUnit framework.

  • 10 Yrs of Crystal Reports experience to work with older versions along with new.

  • 5 Yrs of Proficiency in ASP.NET Core for building RESTful APIs.

  • 5 Yrs of Experience with redesigning legacy asp and asp.net 3.5 framework applications with (since we have many)

  • 2 Yrs of Experience with making web pages ADA 504 Compliant

Preferred Skills:

  • 2 Yrs of Prior experience in working with Texas Education Agency across several projects. Please list the projects.

  • 1 Yr of Arc GIS Software
