Job Description:
Develops strategic campaigns that drive engagement, elevate brand presence, and support key organizational initiatives. Leads social media efforts to promote the Division’s strategy, work efforts and accomplishments. This role requires an IT background to ensure technical alignment and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
• Social Media Strategy & Execution
Build out, implement, and manage a comprehensive social media strategy.
Develop and deliver creative assets (posts, graphics, videos) that align with organizational objectives.
Monitor engagement trends and adjust strategies to maximize impact.
• Communication Campaigns
Plan and execute targeted communication campaigns around major implementations, initiatives, and organizational changes.
Ensure messaging consistency across all platforms and mediums.
• Brand Management
Maintain and reinforce brand identity through all communications.
Review newsletters, press releases, and other materials for consistent messaging and branding.
Identify photo and media opportunities to enhance visibility.
• Strategic Planning & Evaluation
Create, implement, and evaluate communication strategies aligned with the organization’s strategic plan. Set measurable goals and monitor effectiveness using analytics and market research.
Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Accessibility & Compliance
Understand and apply EIR Accessibility requirements throughout the project lifecycle (planning, design, development, testing).
Ensure resources and processes are in place to meet accessibility standards.
Required Skills:
8 years or more of experience as a Marketing Communications Coordinator.
Minimum of 3 years of experience with external documents such as newsletters or demonstrated equivalent of writing and publishing design skills; public relations, marketing, targeted marketing, especially social media, promotional marketing, lead nurturing, marketing automation tools, and web analytics for any agency. Excellent understanding of email marketing concepts and metrics such as Sender Score, deliverability, and sender reputation.
Min 2 years of experience in email marketing and marketing automation technology. Highly analytical and able to derive meaning from data through A/B testing and email and landing page optimization. Demonstrated intermediate experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher and PowerPoint; Access, and report‐writer and/or Adobe Creative Suite experience preferred. Knowledge of Associated Press Style.
Preferred Skills:
4 Yrs of Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Communications, Organizational Change Management or related field.
8 years or more - Marketing and/or corporate communications experience.
