BIM DESIGNER - HOUSTON, TX (REMOTE)

Job Description:

Our client is looking for an BIM Designer to work on building the critical minerals supply chain.

• Develop, update and maintain 2D and 3D drawings and models in AutoCAD Plant 3D, Civil

  3D and Revit

• Support multidiscipline layouts — equipment and general-arrangement plans, civil drawing

  support — and maintain CAD standards across projects

• Ensure high drawing/model accuracy and strict adherence to project and company

  standards

• Drive automation and efficiency with basic scripting — Python, PowerShell, AutoLISP

• Prepare drawings and models for design reviews, construction and field execution

• Assist with laser-scanning registration from LiDAR and SLAM-based scanners (scan-to-

  BIM)

• Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers and external consultants across

  disciplines

Required Skills:

• 3+ years as a CAD Designer, CAD Drafter, BIM Designer or similar

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D and Plant 3D preferred)

• Experience on industrial, mining, manufacturing or infrastructure projects (preferred)

• Ability to work across multiple disciplines — not limited to a single trade
